Maintenance Plan 2005-06
Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve will be transferred to the Achuar people guaranteeing that the present infrastructure can be utilized in an immediate way after the transference process, to achieve this objective we have initiated a process of maintenance of the lodge that understands the reinforcement of structures, change of ceilings and preventive maintenance against humidity to all the wood. All this process will be developed between the 2005 and 2006. The only way to access to Kapawi is through airplanes and light aircraft that land in local trails, to assure a secure landing we have given manual maintenance periodically. For better results, since September 2005 Kapawi counts with a vibratory roller that improves the conditions of the present landing strip, the acquisition of this equipment is part of the maintenance plan of 05-06
